Announcing Gravity/Levity prize winners

Congratulations to the three prize winners of Gravity/Levity: A Juried Members’ Exhibition, all of equal merit and distinction. Winners were selected by Lisa Crossman, Curator of American Art and Arts of the Americas at the Mead Art Museum at Amherst College, who also served as exhibition juror. Below, watch a short video announcement presenting Crossman’s selections. Twenty-nine sculptures by twenty-five artists capturing approaches to weight and weightlessness comprise this exhibition on view in the East and West Galleries through Sunday, August 16.
