In Transition: A Members’ Exhibition in partnership with the Fitchburg Art Museum

Due to the current closure of the gallery, we have extended this exhibition to run to June 6.

Closing reception: TBD

In this non-juried exhibition, artists will show work in a wide range of media in response to this year’s theme of transition. Any active ArtsWorcester artist member was eligible to register one work. In support of the call for art, a loan of ten works from the FAM permanent collection has been on view in the ArtsWorcester main galleries. This will be the eighth “Call and Response” collaboration between ArtsWorcester and the Fitchburg Art Museum, an important center for contemporary New England art.

FAM’s curatorial staff will select ten works from In Transition to be exhibited at the Museum along with the loan of works from their own collection. Announcements will be made during the public reception. The selected works will be on view at the Fitchburg Art Museum in June of 2020.

We thank our friends and partners at the Fitchburg Art Museum for sharing their collection so generously with our artists.
