About Project Spaces

New this year, Project Spaces at ArtsWorcester feature multiple artists producing small exhibitions within the same gallery space. The work of five artists in a range of media are highlighted this year: Evan Charney brings us closer to an old craft with his skilled woodcuts and wood engravings; John Slepian’s original Polaroids offer a vintage-inspired view of the little things in life; a site-specific installation by Amber Rose Tortorelli makes visible a personal mental health journey; mixed-media collages from Jill Watts give a glimpse into the life of a Worcester neighborhood; and Mark Zieff’s stunning charcoal and colored pencil drawings explore well-worn clothing items and our relationships to them.
