Kristin is a still-life artist from Massachusetts with an interest in using composition and color to bring a sense of connection across time. The paintings are meant to spark feelings of renewed energy and liveliness. The use of personal teapots & cups that were collected during treasure hunts with loved ones in the 1970s & 80s ground the scenes in nostalgia & love. The use of flora & fauna reflects her love of nature and invites moments of appreciation for the earth and its bounty. Table scapes infused with red rose tea represent an invitation to conversation, connection, and contemplation for just a moment in time. 

Kristin is a mother to 4 daughters & 5 grandchildren. She is a teacher by day and a painter by night. Gouache is her medium of choice.
