I am an artist and traveler who gained a lot of artistic momentum only after I shed societal expectations for how my life should go. I had always been told that art is a nice hobby, but forbidden as a serious life path. I began by painting murals in hostels and hotels throughout Asia, and now I cannot live without this pursuit of creativity and art-force. As a feminist and public health professional, I find my passion for women’s empowerment, social justice, and nature goddesses remain strong themes in my work. I don’t want to dictate the viewer’s experience upon seeing my art, I merely hope to convey my own experience, and perhaps it will intersect and resonate with the collective experiences of my fellow humans.
