Christian Bachez

Christian Bachez is a mixed media artist currently based in Worcester, MA. He was born and raised in the Lower East Side of New York City and moved to Worcester to attend the College of the Holy Cross. He specializes in bright, colorful and imaginative digital depictions of mystical scenes, many times including his signature character, named SNAX, or incorporating letters and phrases. His goal as an artist is to get viewers of his art to ask questions relating to identity, meaning and self in a fun, playful way appropriate for all ages. Recently, he created a large-scale traveling mural depicting Worcester individuals, organizations and businesses, and participated in POW! WOW! Worcester 2021, including SNAX on one of the walls made during the festival, and painted a mural at the DCU Center’s Glazy Susan. He hopes to not only expand his repertoire in the art world but also expand his art to be more accessible to people of all backgrounds.
