Visionaries: ArtsWorcester's Planned Giving Society
Planned gifts to ArtsWorcester support living artists and build a thriving community for contemporary art in Central Massachusetts for generations to come.
ArtsWorcester Visionaries are individuals who wish to perpetuate their support—or the support of a loved one--and who have made gifts to ArtsWorcester in their estate plans. We invite you to join them, and allow us to honor your commitment.
To make a planned gift or to learn more, contact Juliet Feibel, Executive Director, at 774-778-1324 or by email.

A bequest from your will or trust is among the simplest and most common ways to give. Your gift will qualify for the estate tax charitable deduction under federal and Massachusetts law.
To include ArtsWorcester in your will or trust, we suggest the following language:
To make a gift of a specific cash amount: “I give the sum of X to ArtsWorcester, a Massachusetts non-profit corporation, in Worcester, Massachusetts, for its general purposes.”
To give all or a portion of the residue of your estate (all the property remaining after specific gifts are made): “I give all (or _ %) of the residue of my estate to ArtsWorcester, a Massachusetts non-profit corporation, in Worcester, Massachusetts, for its general purposes.”
You may wish to make a gift restricted to a specific purpose—a named prize or a specific program, for example. If you would like your estate to support a particular activity in perpetuity, please contact Juliet Feibel, Executive Director, at 774-778-1324 or by email.
Making ArtsWorcester a beneficiary of your IRA, 401(k), 403(b), or other qualified retirement plan, is the most tax-efficient way for you to make a planned gift to ArtsWorcester.
Your gift will qualify for federal and Massachusetts estate tax charitable deductions.
Retirement plans are the least-favored assets to leave to individual beneficiaries, as the plan’s value to individuals must be reduced by estate and income tax owed by those beneficiaries on future withdrawals.
Naming ArtsWorcester as a beneficiary does not involve changing your will or trust. Simply ask your financial advisor for a beneficiary designation form.
Naming ArtsWorcester as a beneficiary of a life insurance policy, to receive all or a portion of the death benefit, is a simple and easy way to remember ArtsWorcester in your estate plans.
Your life insurance company will provide upon request a new beneficiary form and instructions for completing it. Many companies make these forms available online as well.
You may be able to name ArtsWorcester as a charity to receive any remaining fund balance, or recommend future distributions to support our work. Your fund administrator will be able to provide guidance.
Please discuss your planned giving intentions with your professional financial advisor.
