Celebrate a local artist and support ArtsWorcester at the same time!
Stephen DiRado, a Worcester-based photographer and currently a Guggenheim Fellow, has been recording regular visitors to a nude beach on Martha’s Vineyard for the last twenty-five years. His new documentary, Summer Spent, gives an intimate glimpse into his life at work, and the often unglamorous effort required to create art. The mutual trust required by the project creates a rare and revealing portrait of a community inaccessible to others.
All proceeds from the sale of this film will benefit ArtsWorcester (thank you, Stephen!). The film is unrated (frequent nudity and some strong language) and has a duration of 39 minutes, 45 seconds.
Summer Spent can be purchased at ArtsWorcester or from Stephen’s website: stephendirado.com
