Beth Perry is a self-exploring mixed media artist, currently focusing on oils, acrylics, and collage. She has enjoyed taking online classes from artists such as Wendy Brightbill and Jeanne Oliver. She recently moved to Massachusetts from Missouri where she began her own artistic journey in 2005. Beth is fascinated by urban surroundings, such as layered paint and posters that have peeled away over the years, leaving behind an artistic echo of what was once there. She also draws inspiration from contemporary, abstract artists Jan Lord with her distressed layers and Jeremy Brown’s street art vibe. Beth hopes to make meaningful connections through art, get involved in the community, and find growth in her creative voice.
