On the upper level of the Aurora Gallery, The Fire Works Clay Studio celebrates their fifth year anniversary with a collection of fine arts and functional wares.
On the landing of the Aurora Gallery, Cheryl Lichwell's exhibition, See YOU at the Zoo offers anthropomorphic ceramic sculptures within an installation exhibition. Lichwell's work begs us to pause and take a moment to consider the similarities between nature and human nature.
On the lower level of the Aurora Gallery, L'État Immolé features collaborative works by Brian Burris and Daniel Ceglinski. The artists centralize their abstracted acrylic paintings around themes of transcendence in death, loss, and traumatic crisis. As a lieutenant in the Worcester Fire Department, Burris's personal experiences with sacrifice fuel the inspiration for his work.
