Time for a Change: A New Graphic Identity of ARTSWorcester

ARTSWorcester members are invited to submit designs for the new ARTSWorcester logo.

Deadline for Submission of Logo Design July 24, 2008

Since 1979, ARTSWorcester has provided local area visual, performing, and literary artists with many exhibition and performing opportunities. This year ARTSWorcester will offer to the public over 35 different exhibitions and performances for its artist members. As we continue to grow, it’s time for an aesthetic revamp of the ARTSWorcester logo, and we are looking to our members to help create our new graphic identity. The ARTSWorcester new logo will reflect the creative and inspiring quality of our members’ work and serve as a symbol of the talent of the greater Worcester area cultural community.

Requirements

• Intent to Submit form must be received by July 2, 2008
• Design must be submitted in hard copy and jpeg format only
• Two (2) logo designs are allowed per member
• Logo design must be original and not previously exhibited at ARTSWorcester
• Design must be applicable for use as a logo
• ARTSWorcester will have the rights to the logo design and will credit where appropriate the artist
• Current ARTSWorcester Membership, if not a member, $35 fee for year’s membership.
• Logos must be received by ARTSWorcester by July 24, 2008

Selection Process

Submitted logos will be on display at the ARTSWorcester’s Aurora Gallery. Viewers’ Choice voting will take place at the Aurora Gallery from July 29 through September 5th and will be announced at the artist reception of the Blackstone Print Studio exhibition on September 12, 2008.
