Worcester Chorus OPEN Rehearsal

Worcester Chorus will begin the new season with an Open Rehearsal for anyone interested in learning more about the chorus and joining. Music Director Andrew Clark will provide overview of the music and Chorus Pres. Ginger Vaughan will discuss organizational goals. Singing will be of some of the upcoming season's music. This is a great chance to meet other singers in the community, and perhaps find your new choral home.

$50.00. Bob Collins from the Danforth Museum will be judging the show. He will be looking at composition creativity and technique. Work will be accepted September 6-11, 2008.

Auditions - Home for the Holidays

Theatre at the Mount, Gardner, Massachusetts announces auditions for its November/December production of Home for the Holidays. Director Sandie Couture, Music Director Becky Ufema and Choreographer Nicole Couture are looking for a cast of 12  16 children (ages 8  12); 16 dancers (ages 16 and up)  tap dancing ability preferred, pointe ability desirable; large teen and adult chorus plus featured soloists

Celebrate the most joyous of seasons with the Theatre at the Mount family! Our Christmas spectacular will get you in the festive spirit with dazzling sets, stunning costumes, Broadway-style dancing, the traditional holiday songs you know and love and a visit from Santa! Home for the Holidays is our greeting card to you  filled with love, laughter and holiday cheer!

Auditions for children will be held on Sunday, September 7 at 2:00pm sharp; auditions for adults and teens will be held on Sunday, September 7 at 3:30pm sharp and Monday, September 8 at 7:00pm sharp. Auditions are held in room 182 at Mount Wachusett Community College.

Everyone should prepare a short singing selection (accompanist provided). Dancers will be taught a short dance combination (please wear appropriate clothing and footwear)

Performances of Home for the Holidays are November 28, 29, December 5 and 6 at 8:00PM and November 30 and December 7 at 2:00PM. Tentative rehearsal schedule is Sundays from 6 - 9pm and Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 7  10pm. Children will rehearse on Sundays from 5:00pm to 6:00pm with additional rehearsals closer to production.
