Illusionary Surfaces is the second exhibition held at the new GArtH Gallery of Art at the Hadley Building, 657 Main Street, Worcester. This exhibition is presented by ARTSWorcester and features contemporary paintings, mixed media, and photographs by Pat Bock, Katie Messina, and Gunter Mueller.  Pat utilizes a variety of mixed media to create intriguing textural designs.  Katie Messina’s love for nature shines through her paintings in an expressionist style created by layers upon layers of paint. Her work explores the interactions that occur between color and light to transcend traditional ideas of landscapes.  Gunter uses modified compositional space to capture abstracted details of street graffiti through digital photographs.  Together, the works of these three artists come together and break away from reality in their own unique styles.
