“Drawn to Life” brings together a variety of artists working in different styles who all share a passion for drawing. This work explores the search for meaning and the importance of communication through visual representation. The immediacy inherent in the act of drawing allows for spontaneous expression as well as process and revision. Meaning is brought to life through the mastery of the material, which is in the service of the artist’s vision. These images are windows for contemplation and reflection on the very nature of our own being.
