Journeys... Stops Along the Way

Journeys…Stops Along the Way will take place Thursday, June 11, 2009 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at the ARTSWorcester Aurora Gallery located at 660 Main Street, Worcester. This occasion is free and open to the public.

Since 1979, the creative efforts of ARTSWorcester’s artist members, volunteers, and board members has fostered thirty years of exciting opportunities and services for visual, performing, and literary artists. As the only non-profit, professionally managed members’ gallery in Central Massachusetts, ARTSWorcester continues to advocate for programs of mutual benefit to all sectors of the Greater Worcester Area and presents a wide variety of contemporary local art to the community at large. 

Journeys…Stops Along the Way is ARTSWorcester’s summer members non-juried exhibit in celebration of the organization’s 30th anniversary. The response from the call to artists for this show was extraordinary, resulting in a wide variety of works presented by over seventy artists.  Each artist participating in Journeys will exhibit two works: one from earlier in their career and one completed within the past two years. Journeys will showcase the personal artistic growth achieved by ARTSWorcester members.
