Richard Wagher

I have been drawing since a young age, though I did not pursue art as a career. While currently unable to work due to a work-related injury, I use my art as a form of meditation and concentration. The time it takes to complete one work of art ranges between 25 and 70 hours. I use pencil to keep the point sharp and fine, allowing more control. I can shade light and dark, can add or remove, nothing is permanent or final while drawing. I have created art pieces with ink, but I find there to be less control with fine lines, as ink tends to spread. My art was displayed in March 2013 at The Sprinkler Factory. I am enjoying the experience of showing my art and look forward to continuing to pursue these works and creating new items.
