Kayt Silvers is a fashion, portrait, and fine art photographer whose work explores the innate human connection between the surreal and the mundane. She views photography as a medium with which to create and preserve a fictional moment in time, employing a carefully selected array of often hand-made props and wardrobe in a rich, curated color palette. Using a digital camera with a variety of unusual lenses and print transfer techniques, she creates photos with an ethereal, painterly, and dreamlike feel, an echo of the reality they merely represent. She draws inspiration from themes of isolation, the passage of time, and the fragility of man-made creations. Her work has been featured in Vogue Italia, Blur, Adore Chroma, Photographer’s Forum, and F-Stoppers Magazines.
She is one half of the emerging photography duo Silvers & Bynes and currently lives and works in Worcester, MA.
