Originally from Rochester New York, I have been living in New England for over 40 years, and currently reside in Sturbridge MA. After receiving a BA in Studio Art from The College at Brockport, SUNY I went on to obtain my MFA from The Ohio State University, with a concentration in sculpture. I have practiced in the commercial world as an Experiential Custom Exhibit Designer for most of my career, and more recently focused my attention on painting.
Process and Rational: I work mostly in an expressionistic manner, experimenting and getting more detailed as the work progresses. I am motivated and inspired by micro organic design elements I see in the environment. My images are purely invented. Nonrepresentational, extreme close-up landscapes. Exaggerated by color, texture, line and shape.
